Fujitsu Siemens Computers moves to new site and continues collaboration with Gingco.Net/Estate

The many years of cooperation between Gingco.Net New Media and Fujitsu Siemens Computers GmbH will be expanded by yet another important project. Europe's leading IT manufacturer moved to the newly completed HighLight Munich Business Towers in North Schwabing in April and continues to set store on the room booking software Gingco.Net/Estate. The successful collaboration with the New Media agency of Braunschweig since 2001 further reinforces the decision to upgrade the software to Version 2.0.

Gingco.Net/Estate as solution partner of Steelcase

Under the motto "Fly Steelcase", the worldwide leading office furniture manufacturer hosted this year's annual Bavarian Days held from 14 to 15 June in Rosenheim. In the course of the 2-day company fair, Gingco.Net New Media introduced itself as solution partner for its booking software to the over 1,100 visiting international trade specialists.

The "Bavarian Days" are among the most important events in the industry and take place every year at the German headquarters of Steelcase in Rosenheim. In a relaxed atmosphere, customers and partners are shown new products, concepts, and trends in office design.

Steelcase uses Gingco.Net/Estate in the Rosenheim WorkLab to handle its workstation and conference room administration, which was presented there as part of the WorkLab Tour.

D+H Management AG of Zurich will be the new exclusive associated company for collaboration with Gingco.Net/Estate on the Swiss market. The innovative firm consults, plans, designs, realises and supports productive work areas throughout Switzerland for Hewlett Packard, Oracle Software, the Swiss Railway, and many others.

Volkswagen Financial Services

With more than 5,000 employees world-wide, Volkswagen Financial Services is Europe's largest automotive financial services provider. A modern conference and finance centre with associated catering area came into being at the Brunswick location. Volkswagen Financial Services AG relies on Gingco.Net/Estate for professional management of the more than 80 conference zones, including accessories and catering bookings. "The software stands out for its enormous speed and flexibility with which it is possible to react to changing requirements such as the addition or also the cancellation of conference and training rooms," emphasises Eiko Garen, Volkswagen Financial Services buildings manager.

Above all, the booking software's detailed authorisation and role system is indispensable for perfectly controlling access authorisation. Booking costs are recorded on cost centres which are charged through the SAP system. Workplace management for project teams provides for further customer planning.

The technical highlight of the project is the integration of a CAFM system from which property information and CAD floor plans are converted, scaled and finally automatically transferred to the booking software databases. This guarantees that data is always up to date without manual rectification in the administration area. In future a further feature is to be added to the system: professional company car management rounds off the software in terms of functionality.
